After our last show in Columbus, OH - The National Catholic Youth Conference - (11/09/07) - which is our 1st full band show since the health recovery of one of our bandmates I felt it necessary for me and the guys from REV21 to keep a proper perspective on life with a good old fashion “count your blessings” note. Anyway, for the Protestants in REv21 it seemed a nice bone to throw to the Catholics in REV21 - ha!
It went a little sump’m like this:
We, and our families all stayed healthy.
Safe travels.
Jacob kept a great rhythm pad that allowed Tim/Rick to engage the audience during the performance.
Mike was able to fill the drum slot with authority.
We now have live footage posted on our MySpace site.
Mike and Jacob made other lodging plans that helped with the financing.
We fulfilled our commitment to NCYC/Spirit and Song.
The show was pretty solid (for having 1 rehearsal with the drummer).
Mike knew how to navigate OH (sort of – ha!)
I’m know there are others that I’m forgetting at this time.
