Our oldest daughter’s recent baptism went well! We’re certainly praising God that she’s accepted Jesus as her Savior.
Of course, she added a flair that only Madeline could. First she “crossed” herself when the pastor mentioned the “Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.” “Crossed” as in the sign of the cross like Catholics do. That was because she watches our Catholic relatives do it, so she always has. And when the minister was finished, she raised two peace signs triumphantly over her head with a big smile then SWAM to the steps of the baptismal! That girl, yep, she’s ours! Gotta love it.
