So, I see my 11 year old in her hoody sweater and baseball hat late today… in the 95+ degree temps. She explains that her and a friend were trying to help a baby robin when the mother robin saw them. The mother bird began attacking them. Before I could ask if the winter garb was for protection she explained that the outfit was a disguise… so the mother robin wouldn’t recognize her. Priceless.
